How Elsy helps with your day and your family

With Elsy, you can set up simple routines, like remembering your medicines and important appointments. You can also tell her about your life and share those stories with your family, which can bring you closer, even when you live far apart. Reminders and routines

Reminders are one of the main things Elsy does. Think of her as your personal assistant. Say "Remind me about my medicine at eight every morning," and she sets it up. When it's time, the reminder arrives as a notification on your phone. She doesn't call you or read it out loud, but she brings it up when you talk. If you haven't responded to a medicine reminder, the app asks again after about 5 minutes and again after about 15. That can give your day more structure and calm. Share your life stories

When you tell Elsy about your life, she writes the story down after the conversation, with your own words as quotes and a picture painted by Elsy. You can read your stories or listen to them, and when you want to share one with your family, you tap Send to family. The stories can help your family understand you better and give you something to talk about when you're together. See how life stories work.

An AI companion that gets to know you

Elsy remembers what you tell her, and she learns the words you teach her, like a word from your local dialect or how a name in your family is pronounced. That makes your conversations more personal and the technology easier to use.

Learning your words

If you correct Elsy when she's misheard one of your words, she usually remembers it next time. Her hearing doesn't change, so she can still mishear now and then. When she does, just correct her again.

What your family can see

If you like, your family can see how you're doing day to day. Family members in Your circle see it on their own family dashboard, in the Elsy app or on helloelsy.com. What they see depends on their level:

• Stories only: the life stories you send, your name and your photo.
• Safety net: also an alert if a conversation suggests something might be wrong.
• Wellbeing: also how you're doing over time.
• Care partner: also your reminders and medicines, which they can help you with and set up.
• Full trust: also what Elsy remembers about you.

They never see transcripts or recordings of your conversations, apart from the life stories you send them, which contain your own words and may include short excerpts of your voice. Everyone above Stories only can see the photos you share from your Photo album. If a family member set Elsy up and gave consent on your behalf, everyone in your circle is at Full trust. Daily updates

At the Wellbeing level and above, your children and other family members can get a short email about what you and Elsy talked about, on the days you talk with her. It's a brief recap, never a transcript or a recording, unless you send them a life story. You can also get your own summary of the day by email in the evening, on the days you've talked with Elsy. That way your family can be there for you at the right moments without crowding you.

Your family never sees transcripts or recordings, apart from the life stories you send them, which contain your own words and may include short excerpts of your voice.
